A Nigerian Impersonated a Man Murdered in 1992 for 20 Years

Sincerely i thought it was only in 9ja that this could happen. But apparently one can also be able to fool d US police.

Mr. Bimbo Olumuyiwa Oyewole (pictured above), is a 54 year Nigerian man. He worked for 20 years as airport security supervisor at Newark Liberty International Airport, using the identity of a man murdered in 1992.

Oyewole lived as Jerry Thomas for twenty years until he was arrested yesterday May 14th at his home in Elizabeth after police discovered that the real Jerry Thomas was murdered in Queens, New York in 1992; the same year Olumuyiwa started using the name. He is yet to tell the police how he acquired Jerry Thomas’ personal information.

Oyewole was arrested yesterday after an anonymous tip to Port Authority police.
Newark Liberty International Airport, first named Newark Metropolitan Airport and later Newark International Airport, is an international airport which straddles the municipal boundary between Newark and Elizabeth, New Jersey, United States.

His is a case of impersonation and possible murder.
