Russia's Design counter anti-missile Missiles

Russia has successfully tested an intercontinental ballistic missile – designed to counter the U.S. defense shield being set up in Europe - firing it from one end of the country to the other, according to reports.

According to a Russian news website Russia Today, the missile was launched on Wednesday at Plesetsk in northwestern Russia and landed at the Kura target range on the Kamchatka Peninsula on the Pacific coast in the country’s east
 According to Vladimir Kozin, the leading researcher at the Russian Strategic Research Institute (RISI), The success of the missile testing is an important step in the perfection of the Russian Offensive power.
"The new missile project is a step in the right direction at a time when the United States is engaged in…large-scale modernization of its strategic and tactical nuclear potentials, and amid the continuing deployment of the European and global missile defense systems,”he said
